Corridor design

In some apartments there are no corridors at all, but more often they can be found in apartments and houses. And if you add a little zest to them, they will make your interior even more expressive, and it will be more pleasant for you to watch a special and beautiful room.

The corridor is a narrow room, with several doorways or arches. There are no windows in it, which makes it darker than other rooms. It does not carry any practical benefit, except for moving from one room to another. There is no point in staying in this room for a long time. Therefore, work on the interior in the corridor is reduced to the installation of lighting, floor and wall coverings. Although, if you work a little with your imagination, then this room can look just as interesting as the living room. And it’s worth starting with the basic elements that you already use for corridors. For example, on top of wallpaper or paint, on the bottom of the walls, you can place stickers or even drawings that imitate grass, flowers, bushes. This will give the room richness and expressiveness, and if your apartment is furnished in bright colors, it will simply be a good link. Often such decorations are used in the kitchen. Next, let's talk about light. Without windows, naturally, the level of illumination in a given room is low. So, why not use several lighting options - run an LED strip along the top plinth, and complement the walls with lamps with decorative shades.

Of course, it is difficult to talk about furniture in this room, this is not a bedroom. And, of course, to arrange a sofa, chair, table will not work. But you can use hanging shelves. And if you do not have enough space for some memorable little things, then it is quite possible to place them on such shelves in the corridor. But the main way to decorate this room is decor. On the same aforementioned hanging shelves, it is quite possible to place figurines and vases. Well, the walls are perfect for placing pictures on them. Just don't overdo it. The corridor is a small room and an excess of decor will ruin it.
