Interior of a tattoo and piercing studio

For a long time, tattoos and piercings were something that was typical only for non-formals, and then only for the most enthusiastic. However, already now society is moving away from this concept and piercings and tattoos have become just a way to decorate your body. Accordingly, there was a demand for this type of service, and the supply followed the demand. As a result, many salons began to appear, which unite several piercing and tattoo masters.

The problems of such salons are exactly the same as those of others - to find a suitable room, buy high-quality furniture and create a decent interior that will look good and attract customers. However, it is not as easy as for classic beauty salons, for example, since very specific services are provided. Therefore, interior design for such premises can be quite a complicated process. Often the salon owners themselves do this, but sometimes professional designers are also involved. Naturally, a professional designer most likely will not receive such a project, as the masters try to express their individuality and special style in the design of their salon. However, why not consider the main positions that play a big role in the interior of the tattoo and piercing salon. It is important to understand that the salon itself is often divided into two or three zones - this is the reception area, the tattoo and piercing area, respectively. And the requirements for them have significant differences.

Tattoo zone

The tattoo room is usually equipped with a table with an armchair, a couch and lockers. All of the above items are strictly practical in nature, but some decorative items, like vases, figurines may not exist at all. On the other hand, often the walls in the tattoo area are decorated with sketches or photographs of the master's work. Naturally, also in this room there is also specific equipment and consumables that are needed in the process of work. Also, the room can be decorated with a picture on the wall - usually it is made in the master's favorite style, in which he most often works. The lighting in this room differs in many ways from the standard options that are used, for example, in the living room - overhead lighting is present and additional lighting is also used, located above the work area.

Piercing area

The piercing area is usually even more minimalistic than the previous one. It can contain a sink, like in a bathroom, shelves or cabinets for storing consumables, and a special chair that allows you to do piercing in more comfortable conditions. Minimalism is due to the difficulties in relation to the sterility of this room / The lighting in this room is similar to the tattoo artist's workplace - general overhead light and individual lighting for the workplace.

Reception area

The reception room performs one simple role - meeting and receiving visitors, as well as placing them at the waiting time. And just in this room, interesting and non-standard ways of decor are most often used. But first things first. Basically, in this room there is a reception desk, a sofa with chairs for visitors. It does not require any specific lighting, but LED strip is often used, which can emphasize the atmosphere of the establishment. The reception room is characterized by the use of non-standard methods of decoration - figures, posters. Also in this room, the merits of the salon masters are demonstrated in the form of certificates, if any.

It is important to note that the most common wall covering in all areas of the salon is paint, as it guarantees the easiest maintenance. But furniture is often purchased to order. For example, this can be done at company «Smart Space».
