Coffee tables in different rooms
It is traditionally believed that coffee tables are located in the living room. And there they are used as a stand for flowers, a table for drinking coffee with guests and just a nice decor. But these are only dining tables that can be placed in one or two rooms. A coffee table can be a useful part of the interior in literally any room, the main thing is to know what you want from it and be able to properly position it.

If you cope with these two points, then as a result you will get an expansion of the functional space and just a beautiful element of the interior. But just do not forget that a coffee table will be out of place in a room in which there is already little space. Also, we will not talk about office space, since coffee tables in the office interior are a separate issue that has little in common with the topic of home interior that we touch on. There are several rooms throughout the house where a coffee table would most likely be out of place. This is a bathroom and a kitchen. There are already enough tables in the kitchen to not feel the need for surfaces. Well, for the bathroom, bedside tables and cabinets are much better suited, i.e. such pieces of furniture that can store a lot of things. Well, let's talk about the rest of the rooms in more detail.
The living room is the most obvious room to place a coffee table. And this is justified by banal practical needs. In the living room, a coffee table is needed to perform several functions. Firstly, you can place snacks and drinks on it if you have guests. After all, you won’t call them to the kitchen, will you? This is not very polite and is only suitable for the closest friends. Secondly, you can put a vase of flowers, a figurine, newspapers and magazines, and other similar things on the coffee table. Thirdly, it is just a convenient surface for things that are put there for a while - a television remote control, a telephone, a book, etc. So the coffee table in the living room is justified from a practical point of view.
More often in the bedrooms use small chests of drawers, bedside tables, lockers. But a coffee table can be quite appropriate there. It will play a more decorative role than a practical one. Also, it can take the place of a bedside table, and there will be a table lamp, telephone, alarm clock and other necessary things on it. The use of a coffee table in the bedroom is necessary if the bedroom itself has a very delicate, light and romantic interior. And in such an interior, a small table will fit much better.
It may seem that such an item as a coffee table is absolutely not needed for a children's room, and rather it will interfere. However, it is not. Even in the children's room for this item there is a use. Firstly, this is the placement of drinks and snacks, by analogy with the living room. Your child may also have guests over, and they will definitely not like the idea of sitting in the kitchen. And so they can comfortably and without harm to the environment be placed at a coffee table. Secondly, it is a decorative function. Statuettes of your favorite heroes, figurines, models - they have to stand somewhere, so why not on a coffee table. And thirdly, you can install a table lamp on it to create lighting in a specific area.
Personal Area
For a private office, a coffee table is just as important as for a living room. It plays a big role, both from a decorative and practical point of view. Well, the most important point is the use of coffee or tea, in the company or on your own. Drinking tea at the workplace is not a very right decision, since you can stain documents by dripping tea on them, spilling it on something you need. So you need a separate place where you can safely sit down and have a bite to eat. The same goes for working with clients. Often, to create a pleasant atmosphere, working moments are discussed over the notorious mug of tea, but you shouldn’t drink it at your desk ?! And this is where the coffee table comes in. Also, you can put the necessary things on it, put a lamp, decorate the room with a vase of flowers.
Of course, in many ways you can do without this piece of furniture. But if you have the opportunity and desire, why deny yourself the pleasure of purchasing a high-quality coffee table and enjoying its beauty.
