If you store clothes on the shelf, then you don't have to worry about your clothes getting dirty due to carelessness. Also, dust and pet hair will not settle on things that are hidden in a chest of drawers. The advantage of shelves in chests of drawers is that you can place them even in the living room, this will not embarrass anyone. After all, the clothes themselves will be hidden from prying eyes. This is a plus if you live alone or together, but a minus if you have a large family, as closets can take up quite a lot of space. If we talk about prices, the cost of a cabinet can vary greatly depending on what materials a particular model was made of. In children's rooms, for example, they often put cheap, small lockers.

The dressing room is a great outlet for large families. It may seem like a waste of space, but considering how many wardrobes and chests of drawers will need to be purchased to provide a family of 3-5 with space for storing clothes, then a separate room is not such a bad idea. You don’t have to worry that someone else will see the clothes, but there is much more space, you can combine hangers, shelves and cabinets. And you can create shelves yourself. Also, in such rooms you can store accessories and shoes, which again greatly frees up space in the main rooms.

Most people prefer to use cabinets, as they are versatile in use. But still it is worth proceeding from what you want and what you can afford. Then the choice will not only please you, but will also allow you not to spend large sums on your purchase.
