Interior in a temperate climate zone
Any climatic zone leaves a certain imprint on the interior, which is most popular with the inhabitants of the area. For example, many sincerely admire the beauties of the Mediterranean interior, but attempts to implement it in our cold winter and rainy spring and autumn quickly show that everything is not as rosy as it seemed. Yes, and the African interior requires a lot of assumptions, which are absolutely necessary if you want to live in comfort and coziness. But both of the above options fit perfectly organically and appropriately into their climate.

Well, our country has a number of features, without which it will be extremely sad to live. But you should not take this as a limitation, it is rather a characteristic feature that makes the interior original, unique and unrepeatable. We live in a temperate climate. Which means hot summer, cold winter, rainy autumn and spring. We get literally the whole set of weather conditions and must be prepared to protect our home from each and every one of them.
For example, it is necessary to have an attic. You may have often seen beautiful interior solutions when a window is installed on the wall and part of the ceiling in the bedroom so that you can admire the starry sky. But in our conditions it is irrational. First, you need an attic that will protect the room from temperature vicissitudes. In winter, it protects against rapid cooling of the room, but in summer - from overheating. Secondly, although such large windows look very beautiful, they require enhanced heating in winter, since glass and double-glazed windows retain heat much worse, but in summer you will need thick curtains that will prevent light from entering and additional heating of the room.
Also, an open balcony for our climate is an interesting, but extremely inconvenient solution. For at least half a year, we have rainfall in one way or another, so it’s not even possible to store anything on such a balcony, let alone build a place for yourself there to enjoy the views. So balconies and loggias are more often found in the glazed version, as this is more practical and, again, contributes to better thermal insulation. And they are often combined with the living room, for example, to expand the living space.
Carpets may seem like a relic of the Soviet past, but they can make a big difference, especially for private homes. If the house does not have a "warm floor" system, then the floors will be quite cold, regardless of what kind of flooring you use. And then carpets come to the rescue. They reliably protect the legs from drafts and cold. But in the same bathroom it is better to use the "warm floor" system.
These three parameters are often wanted to change by many modern and famous designers in an effort to match fashion trends. However, in the form in which they are now, they simply make a person's life better and more convenient. Just as high-quality furniture makes a person's life better and more convenient.
