Chandelier selection
The chandelier is rarely noticed, although it is undoubtedly an important part of the interior. As an exception, we can name only those cases when the chandelier looks very good and fits organically into the interior, or when the chandelier looks very bad. In principle, you need to try very hard so that the chandelier does not fit the style and color of the room, but this is quite possible. So it is better to carefully consider the future acquisition and evaluate whether it will harmoniously fit into the room.

There are a number of parameters by which you can conditionally divide the purchased chandeliers.
Purpose of the premises
Chandeliers purchased for residential and office premises vary greatly in their appearance. For the home, chandeliers are often used with interesting shapes of shades, unusual color combinations, i.e. trying to create some zest and originality. But for office premises, on the contrary, the conservatism of the chandeliers used is typical. Classic white shades are used, or even fixtures that fit snugly against the ceiling. This is due to the fact that the office is a working room and curlicues, flowers and leaves are simply not appropriate there. But at home, decorative delights are more than out of place.
Room type
If the chandelier is purchased for the home, it is also important to pay attention to which of the rooms it will be located in. For example, for a bathroom, it is better to choose such fixtures that will be almost completely closed and isolated from the effects of a humid environment. Similar requirements are put forward for the kitchen. In the living room, you can hang almost any chandelier, as this room does not imply any problems in use. The children's room should be equipped not only with chandeliers, but also with table lamps, and it's also a good idea to buy a night light. All lighting fixtures must be as shock resistant as possible. In general, you just need to understand the specifics of using a particular room and, based on this data, minimize the problems that may arise.
Ceiling height
Ceiling height is of great importance when choosing a chandelier. Even the most beautiful and sophisticated chandelier will look ridiculous if they cling to their heads when visiting a room. Therefore, if you have low ceilings, then purchase chandeliers that are not equipped with hanging elements, and their shades are practically adjacent to the ceiling. There are no restrictions in rooms with high ceilings.
Interior style
Naturally, when choosing a chandelier, you should not forget what style of interior you adhere to in the room where this lighting fixture is purchased. Even the most original and beautiful Art Nouveau chandelier will not be able to fit into a room that is designed for minimalism. Similarly, and vice versa - a high-tech chandelier will look very poor in a baroque room. So it's better to think a hundred times before buying a chandelier.
As you can see, the above parameters are of purely practical importance. So if you follow the recommendations, then you will definitely get a chandelier that will look appropriate in the room.
