What can you save on when buying a kitchen?
New kitchen furniture always requires significant financial costs, especially when it comes to arranging a large kitchen. The planning of the kitchen, the choice of its elements, the design of the headset and materials should be approached very carefully. Very often, buyers seek to save money, give up some elements or options, which is quite natural, but when drafting a budget kitchen, it is very important to understand what can be painlessly abandoned, and what is not worth saving at all. With a reasonable approach to planning a budget kitchen, it will not be inferior in functionality to a more expensive set at all and will yield quite a bit in appearance.

Most often, trying to save money, many refuse convenient and practical accessories, baskets, closers and organizers, but buy expensive spectacular facades, believing that the face of the kitchen is more important than its functionality. But after a while, the appearance of the kitchen no longer seems so important, but the shortcomings in comfort are felt acutely and daily cause inconvenience and discomfort. Therefore, when planning a budget kitchen, do not save on your convenience and functionality of the kitchen, but save on prestige and status. So, let's take a closer look at how you can buy a full-fledged kitchen at a very low price.
Economic facades
Facades can significantly reduce the cost of a kitchen set. Stop your choice on the facades of strict forms, give up everything superfluous, for example, panels, frames, carved elements. Also say no to any additional decor on the facades. Between glass or blank facades, choose blank ones, this will also reduce your costs. Of course, glass looks visually lighter, but this lightness can be created using white or light-colored facades and glossy surfaces.
Inexpensive materials
Natural wood is a noble material, but not suitable for a budget kitchen. Stop your choice on facades made of chipboard or MDF film or veneered. Veneered MDF is more expensive than film MDF, but in appearance it is practically not inferior to natural wood facades, therefore it can be a worthy alternative. Laminated chipboard loses its aesthetic qualities, but it is the most inexpensive material.
Open modules
The upper modules of the kitchen can be ordered without facades at all. Open racks and shelves will hold the same amount of dishes and items, but at the same time they will cost much less. In addition, light hinged shelves will visually lighten the interior of the kitchen, make it more spacious and lighter. The lower modules of the kitchen set can also be diluted with open shelving.
Kitchen without upper modules
In general, with sufficient capacity of the lower sections, you can stop only on them, leaving the "upper floor" empty and free. Such a non-standard approach is very popular today; such a kitchen is good for creating spacious interiors, especially in the case of a studio apartment.
Standard modules and optimal configuration
Eliminate radial elements that have a streamlined shape or complex designs, this is almost always expensive, as it involves technological complexity. Rectilinear elements look no less attractive, and they also win in terms of their functional properties. Definitely, you should refuse to manufacture elements by individual size or reduce their number to a minimum. Even an increase in the standard size of a locker by 10 cm will entail an increase in the unit cost of the element. Choose a set from the available models in stock or from a standard, designed range of furniture.
Budget countertops
Of course, a countertop made of natural stone or wood looks respectable and noble, but the price is much higher than that which can correspond to a budget kitchen. Economical countertop materials include postforming, MDF and laminated chipboard. These materials, of course, are inferior in appearance to natural ones, but their practicality and low cost make them very popular.
